Traded...

Yup, its true. We traded the Rowehaminator for a Nomad travel trailer. Not a bad thing for us. Just takes some gettin' used to...not havin' our 'baby' out here in the yard. We are more than happy that we did it. It better suits our needs for right now, to be able to have a vehicle to transport all eight of us to different places in towns that we stay in and not have to break-down camp everytime.

We go with the Nomad for the first time over the Thanksgiving holidays. Will be getting some great family pics during this time. And I'll be sure to share them with you all.

In the mean time, keep sending me your stories and I'll do my best to get them all published. Go to: http://rvstoriesbyyou.vpweb.com/

Gotta Git Them Pics!

We have gone with our RV a couple of times in between here, but have run into either camera trouble or PC trouble or both. With our six kids all active in some sport or another, the both of us are running circles trying to keep up! These are the days!!

We did make it to Panama City over the Labor Day weekend. Our friends rented a Pontoon Boat for four hours and we had a blast exploring Shell Island. Big waves, dolphins, and plenty of shells.

Here is some video of a wild dolphin that was curious as to what we were looking at. He came right up beside the boat! It was a neat experience for sure! And its on tape!

If you have an adventure story you'd like to share, please send it to me and I'll put it in my book with all the others. Send it via: http://www.rvstoriesbyyou.vpweb.com

Wayward Traveler....

It goes too long in between camping trips for me. If I could, and I suppose I can, paint my own way of things, I would be camping every single weekend! That would give me ample time to visit all the different campgrounds within my surrounding states. After that, then I would branch out to further campgrounds...probably work my way up the East Coast. Most likely I would not venture any further than say, Virginia. I am totally 'anti-cold' right now. I may appreciate it more later on in my life, but for now...nope! Nothin' doin'. I'll stick to the beaches, thank you.
I believe over Labor Day we will be taking the RV to the PanHandle and park it at some friends of ours. The beach is still within walking distance and we don't need reservations. Sweet. Sure do appreciate their hospitality.
Roger installed some new speakers into the RV that we are eager to try out, playin' the "oldies"....'80's music.
So until then, audios and happy camping!
