Alabama

Now that we have landed in Alabama and carved out our little nich in this world, we have made several trips to the pan handles beaches and have even made a big trip to Maine. (my husband and I were born and raised there and still have most of our family there)
Shortly after hanging our hats here, we started investigating what town had to offer. Here are some Park pictures we took.
And we took on the water park too. The Water Park had one "ride" that seemed exciting but safe enough at the same time, so Roger and I allowed ourselves to be talked into going on it.

Wow! What a ride! I have been throw from a horse, lived thru car accidents and chased by a mad man but this ride! Oh my.....it tops them all! I was so scared! I faced the floor from two stories high and was throw at it (well, it at least felt like it)! At least I know now that I have a healthy and strong heart! It won't happen again, on purpose, I can tell ya that! haha! I'll stick to the kiddy slides, thank you very much!
We also experienced their Adventure park with the race cars, water pool, batting cages and arcades. That was a blast! Even my mother participated in the race cars. Once my dad heard of it, he thought she had lost her marbles for sure to do it, but her face proved different in the photos. She had a wonderful time, too. And we topped that day off with their night time mini-golf course. Its pretty bad when your six year old son gets holes-in-one 50% of the time, kicking his parents butts. I suppose we could us some practice.
So much more to share. I will spread this out for another day.
Now its your turn to share your stories.
You can also submit up to two photos with your story. No guarantee of the use of your photos in the book.
