Waiting to Get Out There...

I tried to set up to make a video to put on YouTube taking you thru our RV and come to find out, out of all of the equipment here, we couldn't seem to make it. The camcord that tapes audio/video, can't be hooked up to the tower pc without this, that and the other thing. The new camera we bought (on the spot decision) doesn't even record audio. I did not even know that they made them that way. Who watches video without sound? Hmmm, curious.
And then our best camera, that the shutter button broke on a beach trip, well, we ordered that part and Roger installed it okay, but it still will not work. It must be internal. So that will have to be sent off to be re-worked. And until then, I am stuck with photos only. I'll have to get creative, like our second born daughter, Jen.
She made this really cool video pretending to cut off her cats tail. It looks so real, but funny at the same time. It's posted on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuvTpS50rL4
She also has made clay-mation movies. She's quite clever. We'll see what we can do until I can get sound back into my videos.

I do know that my "adventurer's bone" is starting to ache again. We haven't been on a trip in the RV since we traveled to Maine and back the end of September.
We have talked about it several times. Nearly made plans a couple of times, but it just hasn't seemed to come right yet. It will and I can hardly wait.
I am trying, daily, to train myself to take pictures all the time of anything and everything. You never really know what will come of them and when they could come in handy.
I go out and 'visit' the RV every day. I don't know if it's because I'm middle-aged now or not, but just being able to enjoy the simplest of things is truly a treasure. I could not do that in the past. But today, I can enjoy just sitting in the RV, smelling it's smell, seeing the view it offers thru it's own windows and just remembering where we have come from (Alaska)...and where we are (Alabama).
RV's...don't-chya just love 'em?!

Send me some of your personal RV stories and I'll put them in my book.
