This is a tattoo of a landing dragonfly on a cattail. I had the cattail wrapped around my ankle. I love my tattoo. I am not sorry that I
have it. People ask me, "Would you
do it again?" I guess I'd have to say, 'no' knowing what I know now. The pain was horrible! Ha-ha! I almost passed out twice and nearly threw-up three times. And it only took 50 minutes! The tattoo artist in Alaska did a fabulous job with the colors and the art. I am so glad that I have it. Ankle art is so pretty to me.
I had a life changing experience in 2007 and that also happened to be my year I turned forty. So, with my new found outlook on life, and after desiring a tattoo for thirty years, I decided that it was time. I made the appointment and I kept it. I am glad that I did. Every time I get a glimpse of my ankle, which is very often here in the southern states, it makes me smile and my heart warm up a bit. Tattoo's are a very personal choice.
Like the Law of Attraction, once something is drawn to your attention, albeit a car, a watch, an itch or yawn, you see it more and more and more. And since having my own tattoo, I have noticed tattoos on other people and the quality and detail within them (or the lack thereof). It's a neat thing. Maybe next time you go to the store, you'll take notice of the tats that are around you, as well.
