January is the toughest month of the year for me. I have lived in several different states in the U.S. and they all do the same thing in January - - get cold!
I am grateful to NOT be experiencing the arctic cold of January in Alaska! I got to yell that one at the top of my lungs! We are told it is still minus 32 degrees daily. It was maintaining minus 50 degrees for several weeks! A record breaker for sure.
So I am grateful for the Alabama January cold...compared to that. It was 26 degrees above zero this morning.
Getting on with what I starting saying, January, even being the toughest month for me, brings excitement to me knowing what follows it: warmer weather!! And with warmer weather comes RV trips!! Our first one scheduled for this year will be the third weekend of February. I want to start getting ready now, but I'm too good of a procrastinator to do that.
So I will enjoy January and its cold knowing what follows!
