The RV remains in the drive way awaiting its check-up. Other things prioritized themselves above its repairs for the day. It will be a job for us to take on the duel rear tires ourselves. I suppose that has something to do with putting on the back burner for a weekend.
On our way back to Alabama from Maine, the brake light came on. Not something you want to see while you're driving thru the Blue Ridge Mountains with your entire family inside. We kept our thoughts positive thoughts and hung in there until we could stop at a gas station.
It appeared to be the back brakes giving us the trouble according to the brake fluid reservoir. We decided that all was safe enough to get us home. We braved Atlantic City and on to Montgomery. All was good. No problems. Still had brakes. Seventy miles later, we made it home.
Home. As great as it feels to pull out of the driveway to leave on a trip, is as great a feeling pulling back into that same driveway coming back home.
We will want to get to it this week though, so that we can take her out for next weekend. Here in Alabama, if you stand still too long, you get ants.
