Halloween: Here and Gone

From our past experience, we didn't have a whole lot to go on...to "guage" our candy baggies by. Anywhere else we have lived has not produced a very large number of ghouls and goblins, a dozen, maybe two. So, our first time actually living inside city limits and in a child-filled neighborhood to-boot, we thought we had this one covered with our 80 candy baggies. You should have seen us! There were six of us participating in an assembly-line. Elbows flyin' everywhere! But we finished in record time- - 80 candy baggies all ready to go.
Well, it ended up only taking the local witches and haunts about 80 minutes to wipe us out completely! Yup! And the action stayed going for another hour or so, too!
So next year's Halloween night, we'll be better prepared with 160 baggies!
