This is the season of harvest! I have never seen so many pecans in my life! They are everywhere! They crunch under my tires as I navigate the streets. They are in the mouths of numerous arboreal, bushy-tailed rodents and for sale by weekend venders on street corners. Pecans. My least favorite nut of the nut world. But, still, it continues to amaze me of
the plentitude of the land here in Alabama.
Amongst the harvest is the ever-observed Halloween. Even as I type, some of our kids are carving their pumpkin, while others are face painting...just for practice. Remember those days?
I just had a thought...spending Halloween at an RV Campground just to see how it goes. Do local trick-or-treaters visit their nearest campgrounds? Do the kids in the RV Park go trick-or-treating to other parked campers? Interesting. Maybe we'll go next year.
As for you all, I ran into something that I hadn't yet, and that is someone that does not type or use a computer. So my solution is to have you go ahead and hand-write your story and send it to me via snail-mail and I will type it for you.
